Guidance Session

Guidance Session

(For Std.VI)
Playful or good humored teasing occurs when it causes everyone to smile or laugh, including person who is being teased. In contrast hurtful teasing includes ridicule, name calling, put downs and saying or doing annoying things. Unfortunately teasing can occur anywhere including schools.
To work on this issue of hurtful teasing we had a counselling session in our school on 20th Feb, 2019. Our School counsellor Dr.Nasreen Patel guided the students of Std.VI to prevent them from teasing each other and create a healthy atmosphere in our school. She put forward many negative aspects of teasing and explained the students how seriously the teasing harms the child who goes through it. She also appealed children to stop teasing and prevent others from teasing.
The session ended with a positive response by students. All of them agreed on No More Teasing
