Lippan Artwork Workshop
Lippan art, also known as Mud and Mirror Work, is a traditional art form from the Kutch region of Gujarat, India. This unique craft involves creating intricate patterns and designs on the walls of homes using a mixture of mud and clay. Small mirrors are embedded into the designs, reflecting light and adding a distinctive sparkle to the artwork.
Lippan art is characterized by its intricate geometric patterns. Originally, it was used for decorating the interior and exterior walls of village homes, but today, it has gained popularity as a decorative art form and can be found on various surfaces like canvases, wooden panels, and more.
Lippan Art workshop was Organized at RMDSSDS Warje, for the students of std VI and VII. Expert team of teachers from Pidilite conducted this activity.
Students participated in this activity enthusiastically and were delighted to have this hand on experience.
